| If you would like to become a member of the Croatian Water Pollution Control Society, please fill out the attached application form and send it to our address or by fax.
The annual membership fee for employed individuals is HRK 100.00 (i.e. EUR 15.00 for the members from abroad). The unemployed, students, and retired persons are exempt from the membership fee. The collective annual membership fee for legal entities is HRK 2,000.00 (i.e. EUR 300.00 for the members from abroad) or more, if possible, as a support to the CWPCS, since it is a non-profit organization whose expenses are covered mostly from the proceeds of the membership fee.
Upon receipt of the completed application form, we shall send you a membership payment slip with your member ID.
Who can be member of the CWPCS?
Pursuant to Article 9 of the CWPCS’s Articles of Association, the following persons can become members of the CWPCS if they accept the Articles of Association in writing.
· each citizen of the Republic of Croatia with legal capacity,
· a legal entity with a seat in the Republic of Croatia,
· persons without legal capacity or with limited legal capacity, but without the right to participate in the body’s activities, and
· a foreign national and a legal entity with a seat abroad in accordance with the law and the Articles of Association.
The representative of the legal entity in the CWPCS is appointed by the person authorised to represent the legal person.
Rights and obligations of CWPCS members
CWPCS members have the following rights:
· To elect and be elected into CWPCS’s bodies;
· To participate in all of the activities of the CWPCS; and
· To use experience gained from CWPCS’s work.
CWPCS members have the following obligations:
· To participate actively in the activities of CWPCS’s bodies and act upon their decisions;
· To contribute to the achievement of CWPCS’s objectives;
· To pay regularly the membership fee.
Termination of membership
The membership in the CWPCS shall terminate:
· by a unilateral written declaration on withdrawal from the CWPCS;
· by an enforceable disciplinary action;
· by termination of CWPCS’s activities.
