 EU TWINNING PROJECT "Implementation of the Water Framework Directive in Croatia" in cooperation with the Croatian Water Pollution Control Society, EWA, and Fraunhofer IGB is organising a symposium “INNOVATIVE WASTEWATER TREATMENT SOLUTIONS FOR CROATIA”. The symposium will be held on 4-5 September 2009 in the Tuškanac Hall, at the address of Tuškanac 1, Zagreb, Croatia. Further information follows below.

EVENTS ► A REGULAR ELECTORAL ASSEMBLY OF CWPCS AND A ROUND TABLE UNDER THE TITLE “WHY ARE WATER PRICES RISING”, Zagreb, 17 December 2008 |
 A regular electoral Assembly of the CWPCS and a Round Table under the title “Why Are Water Prices Rising” will be held on Wednesday, 17 December 2008 in Zagreb, on the premises of Hrvatske vode, Ulica grada Vukovara 220 (the great hall/ground floor), starting at 10 a.m. Here you can find the program, a draft agenda of the Assembly, and the Rules of Procedure and the Articles of Association. | In order to keep its members throughout Croatia up-to-date and to have a better contact with them, the Croatian Water Pollution Control Society has decided to publish a journal called GLASNIK. Its first issue came out in March 2005. So far 13 issues have been published. |

About us ► Background |
 The Croatian Water Pollution Control Society is a voluntary, non-profit association of citizens and legal entities joined together to promote water protection and other forms of water management. The CWPCS was established in 1979 as the first environmental organization in this part of Europe. It was established by a group of enthusiasts at a time when water protection activity was in its infancy. |
